A youtuber has invented a real-life light saber that cuts through STEEL!
Alex Burkan is a youtuber from Russia, and was recognized by the Guinness World Records as the creator of the FIRST retractable light saber. Of course a huge fan of Star Wars, he's been researching and working with hydrogen generation equipment since 2013. The 3.28-foot plasma blade reportedly reaches 5,072 Fahrenheit. It's taken him years of collecting scrap metal and ideas from the internet, and while it only lasts 30 seconds, he says he's working on making it last longer.
Alex also mentions he's working on other sci-fi inventions; currently, he’s working on a real-life iron man suit. Trust me, I'll keep you updated.
