Researchers are Looking for "Super Pooper" Donors

In fecal microbiota transplant, doctors take poop - and all the microbes it contains - from a donor with a healthy gut and transplant it to a patient in order to help "reset" the their digestive system.

But not all donor poop is created equal. Researchers are now trying to identify "Super Poopers", folks whose dung has more of the beneficial microbes needed to maintain a healthy gut.

So talk to your doctor about being a donor. You could help treat patients with a slew of gut related issues, just by giving a s**t.
