Wallet Hub released its annual list of the 100 best cities for Halloween. The results are partly based on things like how many costume shops there are, how many people throw parties, and how nice the weather is. But the biggest thing they look at is how they cater to trick-or-treaters.
Once again, NEW YORK snagged the top spot this year. But four cities in California also made the Top 10.
The 10 best cities to be in for Halloween this year are:
- New York
- Jersey City, New Jersey
- Los Angeles
- Irvine, California
- San Diego
- Santa Ana, California
- Chicago
- Las Vegas
- Irving, Texas
- St. Paul, Minnesota.
They looked at 100 different cities. And LAST PLACE this year goes to Albuquerque, followed by Baton Rouge, Memphis, Birmingham, Alabama, and St. Louis.
Laredo, Texas has the highest percentage of potential trick-or-treaters this year. Anaheim, California has the highest percentage of people handing out candy. And Las Vegas has the most costume shops per capita.
