Richard Russell Talks to Tower While Flying Plane Stolen from SEA-TAC

A SEA-TAC worker in Seattle named Richard Russell stole a Horizon Airlines plane on Friday and eventually crashed it on an island. He wasn't a trained pilot, but he'd "played video games" before. He died alone in the crash, after he spent a lot of time talking to air traffic controllers. He told them he did it because he felt disrespected at his job and snapped.
