A former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader is suing the team, claiming they owe her money. And she also accuses the team of unfairly paying her less than half of what they paid the MASCOT, who was a guy.
She says she was making $8 per hour, but that the mascot "Rowdy" made $25 per hour and about $65,000 per year, compared to the $16,500 she made.
She says she and the cheerleaders did work that required, quote "equal skill, effort, and responsibility under similar working conditions," but were paid "significantly less" than Rowdy. There's no comment from the team. Or Rowdy.
“Rowdy is in a costume, you have no look requirements, no height requirements, and no weight requirements," Wilkins said.

Three former Houston Texans cheerleaders sued the team last month, saying they were paid less than the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour and endured physical assault by fans.
