AN AMERICAN WOMAN WINS BOSTON MARATHON 1ST TIME IN 33 YRS

Desiree Linden became the first American woman to win the Boston Marathon in 33 years yesterday.  She won it in just under two hours and 40 minutes.  Which is kind of bad for a big marathon like that one, but she was running all morning in heavy rain and high winds, with temperatures down near freezing.  (At the end of the clip she says it was her dream scenario, like she thought she was better in bad weather than other runners would be.)
