A woman named Amanda Vice and her daughter Payton were at a Starbucks in San Bernardino, California a few years ago, and Peyton ordered a Frappuccino. But after a few sips, she noticed that it tasted kind of weird.
And that's when they realized there was BLOOD in the cup. And no, it wasn't one of Starbucks' Halloween drinks where they make strawberry puree look like blood. An employee had literally bled into the cup.
It turns out one of the baristas had a cut but was still making drinks. So the store apologized, and offered Amanda one week of free drinks to make up for it.
That obviously wasn't enough, though . . . especially when the store refused to get the employee tested for diseases.
So now, the family is SUING Starbucks for an undisclosed amount.
