Some guy in North Carolina tried to buy a used van from a government auction, and he ended up getting a fully-equipped FBI surveillance van from the '80s. Exactly like you see on TV, with no windows in the back, all full of recording gear and disguised to look like a work van. THATS CRAZY.
Even though the equipment is old and outdated, doesnt that seem like a BAD IDEA? ....to let that exactly detailing out into the public?
This guy turned around and just sold the thing as-is for almost 19 grand on eBay. (His name is Ginter Senfeldas. In this clip he talks about the cameras and microphones hidden in weird places all over the van.)
APPARENTLY THIS IS NORMAL, cuz here's another one from a different state where a full on FBI van got sold to the public.
