A war memorial in Indiana is getting national attention because an engraver misspelled the word "terrorism" on a bench. The guy who designed the memorial had to come back and cover up an extra letter with duct tape. His name is Ty Murphy, and he talks in this clip about how silly it is that we're talking about a typo instead of the soldiers who gave their lives in Vietnam. The company that made the bench is going to make another one.
So do we really need the grammar police? Whats more disrespectful, a misspelled word or ignoring the meaning of the memorial in favor of blowing up a spelling error?
