Some guys in Italy built a huge bonfire and soaked it in gasoline, and then tossed burning sticks on it. They were lucky it didn't kill them. The wood pile was at least 12 feet tall and 30 feet wide. That sound like a match striking about three seconds into this clip is the sound of the entire pile going up at once, from more than 100 feet away.
Fortunately I didnt meet anyone this dumb while I was in Italy last week.
