Nordstroms Dumps Ivanka Trump's Clothing Line

Nordstrom will no longer be the place to go for Ivanka Trump fashion.

They said that it's no longer going to be carrying the Ivanka Trump label for the new season. While Nordstrom didn't address the reason directly, it indicated in a statement that it isn't selling well.

"We've said all along we make buying decisions based on performance. We've got thousands of brands – more than 2,000 offered on the site alone. Reviewing their merit and making edits is part of the regular rhythm of our business," the statement says.

Trump tweeted on Wednesday that Nordstrom was treating his daughter Ivanka Trump “so unfairly” for dropping her clothing line. Nordstrom has said it decided to drop the line because of declining sales.

Politics were never mentioned in Nordstrom's decision to discontinue Ivanka Trump's line. However, the chain was one of the dozens of retailers being targeted by the #GrabYourWallet campaign. That movement is calling for shoppers to boycott brands with ties to the Trump family.

Some are calling President Donald Trump’s most recent tweet a potential conflict of interest.

What do you think, it is a conflict of interest or not?
